Bluestar Updates

Hello!

Today I'm going to give y'all a few updates going on in the world of Bluestar Ink. I've been busy keeping my hands in several pots, trying to bring several projects up together.

In addition to the Schwinn bikes, I have been working on expanding my product line for my shop. I don't want to give too much away just yet, but it will be a combination of illustration, textiles and screen printing. I'm really excited!

And with the soon-to-be launch of my new product, I've decided to take the leap into the world of advertising. This is something I've been toying with for a while, and I figured now would be a good time to help promote the Bluestar Ink Shop

Going Home To Roost

Going Home To Roost is one of my favorite blogs because it combines several of my favorite things: handmade, gardening, yummy food and DIY projects - all in one place! The blog's author, Bonnie, is so sweet - she has such an inspiring way of sharing all of her thoughts with her followers. I see myself in her, considering she is constantly learning new skills, from knitting to candle making to yoga - she is a woman after my own heart! I figured this would be the perfect setting for my first ad, which will run for the next several months. If you haven't already, please stop on over at GHTR and say "hi" - I'm sure Bonnie would love to have ya!

And yet another task I'm trying to knock off my to-do list, is consolidating all of my sites to one website - Bluestar Ink. Right now the site serves as only my portfolio - but soon it will be overhauled to include my blog and my shop. (In case you missed my tweet, the new address of my blog is http://bluestarinkblog.com. If you're already linked to the blogspot address, it should still shoot ya over to the new domain, but there may be some weird issues in my sidebar.) It will be so nice to have one go-to site for all things Bluestar Ink! Thanks to my friend Tony, who is helping me out with the new site. Thanks, Tony!

This may be my last post until next week, because I'm traveling to Chicago to do some major shopping at Renegade Craft! I am SO pumped. Will any of you be there?
