The Monroe Street Arts Center is one of the many reasons I love living in Madison, Wisconsin. It is such a wonderful, inspiring place. At any given moment, you will find kiddos making magic in their art classes, babies bouncing to music with their caregivers, or hear the sweet sounds of a guitar or piano during a private lesson. Recently, after 22 years, MSAC has officially outgrown their old location and have moved to a larger space which is offering so many more opportunities for our creative community.

My family has been involved in the Monroe Street Arts Center programming for many years. Our daughter has taken many art classes, summer camps, and both private music and art lessons. I have taken a few adult workshops, and in the future I may teach my popular Camp Bluestar at the new MSAC space. I have donated art to several of their past fundraisers, and I am a proud member of their Board. To say MSAC is important to us is an understatement. I cannot imagine our lives without it!

This is a giclee print of an original illustration created specifically for the Monroe Street Arts Center. Inspired by words on the MSAC website, the background is filled with stylized art and music elements. The original is a gouache painting, and this same design will be part of a community mural that will eventually hang in the new Monroe Street Arts Center space. Now you can have your very own print - and support a wonderful cause while you’re at it!

This signed giclee print is 16x20” with a limited run of 100. It is printed on acid-free, archival, 100% cotton rag bright white paper. It is printed using archival, pigmented inks, creating bright colors and rich blacks. A special thanks to Picture Salon for their beautiful printing services!
